Anil Bansal is the founder and managing director of the AK Bansal Group with over 35 years of experience in the PP/HDPE woven Fabric manufacturing industry. He was born in Sirsa (Haryana) in 1956 and educated in Benares and Bangalore. But fate brought him to Mangalore where he started off his career by reviving a sick flour mill purchased by the family in 1970’s. Hard work was his mantra and 1985 saw him solely shouldering and starting his own company Bright Packaging Pvt. Ltd. for the manufacture of pp/hdpe woven sacks and fabrics. BPPL has been growing exponentially since then and is now a renowned name in the industry. During his journey, in 1992 he took over another sick Flour Mill, Sathyam Roller Flour Mills, which is now one of the very few fully automated mills in the country. And then AK Bansal group took birth; with a vision to be a highly diversified business conglomerate and to achieve excellence in every field it ventured into. With able support of his wife Sushma Bansal and his two sons – Ankit and Abhinav Bansal, he is all set to meet the long term objective of focused growth while delivering values.

Sushma Bansal, the wife of Mr. AK Bansal is the director at AK Bansal Group. She joined the company in the year 2002 and is managing the company's HR department since then. She likes to be in the know of everything that goes around and keeps herself updated on the same. She is a quick witted woman with a very versatile personality. She is strong, disciplined and owns the art of managing her time efficiently. One can find all the qualities of a perceptive leader in her. Sushma believes in "Keep Going" no matter what and she swears by "nothing is impossible" for her to think. She is not only tuff from outside but also a compassionate person who has stood by her employees through rain and shine. Over the years she has set a wonderful example for today's generation by being a professional and a homemaker at the same time. Recently, she also procured "Reliance Jio Family Business Leadership Award", second position for a woman entrepreneur’s contribution to creating an outstanding and long lasting business in Mangalore. Being an active member of various social organizations, she believes in doing her bit towards society.

Ankit Bansal, the elder son of Mr. Anil Bansal is one of the directors of the AK Bansal group. He is a B.E. graduate in Civil from NITK University, Suratkal, Mangalore. Even before completing his BE in 2004, Ankit joined his father at the company. Under the guidance of his father and with the zeal of the new generation, Ankit gave the company fresh impetus and a new perspective and since then there has been no looking back. He is very passionate about his work and is driven by the firm belief that it is “better together”. He dedicates most of his time for the growth and development of the company. Ankit is not only hardworking but like his mother also a compassionate person, which has made him emerge as a good leader. He continuously boosts the morale of his team and motivates them to work harder. They say ”A curious mind knows no limits”,the saying stands true for this gentleman indeed.

Abhinav Bansal, the younger son of Mr. A.K. Bansal is one of the directors of AK bansal group. Completing his masters in Entrepreneurship from Nottingham university, UK in 2011, he has since then been continuously supporting his family in taking care of the companies under the AK Bansal group . Joining with the idea of “ making the complicated simple” he implemented many new ideas , softwares , optimised energy and brought a new perspective into the company. He takes a special interest in modern techniques of production and management and understands that one needs to mould oneself with time; hence his arena is production and quality. Soft spoken but with very strong views, Abhinav has left no stone unturned in taking the company further. Abhinav is a very optimistic person who does’nt believe in giving up. He strongly stands by the fact that “A human mind has no limits if put to use optimistically”. Apart from work, Abhinav is also passionate about water and likes to go surfing in his free time. He is currently associated with a local surfing club “Stoked”.
